Great Doctor, concerned and knowledgeable...
After months of seeing Doctors at John Hopkins with no relief, I was referred to Dr. Kafaji. He quickly ordered test and found a very real cause of pain in my neck. I continue to be treated by him. He is professional, thorough, patient and empathetic. His staff (esp. Kim) is wonderful-they follow through as they promise they will. I wish I was seen by Dr Kafaji months ago.
I was tearafied of the back shots but after a bad experience with meds I needed a way put of pain after watching someone go before me asking my questions I went though with it I'm here to say it hurts much less than and IV or epadorl I slept much nicer last night first time in 6years I feel so blessed thank you Dr. Kafaij and Mrs. Kim!!!!!
From 2006 to 2010 I found it increasingly difficult to walk without the stability of my ankles. I would stumble. My gait became weaker, my stride shorter. I lost strength in my hips. A generalized chronic ache set in. I lost my balance simply trying to shower. By 2010 I was bedridden. The generalized ache turned to chronic pain. My husband serving me a meal per day. I didn’t have an appetite. My weight was 84 pounds by the time my husband found medical help. I was bedridden for 14 months. My muscles had atrophied, I was in Stage 3 renal failure, had hypothyroidism and polyneuropathy. All of this undiagnosed until I saw Dr. Debra Hunt who in turn referred me to Dr Kafaji. He diagnosed me with polyneuropathy. In addition, I was under the care of a nephrologist. 3 physicians in 3 counties and 4 years of treatment, compassion, patience and understanding have gotten me out of bed, giving me my life back and allowed me to return to work. I am forever grateful to all who have seen this healing process through. Dr. Kafaji has been at the core of my progress. I owe him. A life for a life. Do not take a dedicated team of physicians and staff for granite. You do not realize how precious quality of life is until it’s gone. I was fortunate to get a second chance, working hard to maintain the health Dr. Kafaji and Dr. Hunt have returned to me. November 2017 marks 7 years of returning to a happier, healthier me.

I have received nothing but phenomenal service from this establishment. I felt the professionalism was above and beyond from the great secretaries and both doctors and nurses. This family style atmosphere was impeccable. It's very seldom to find doctors who really care about you physical and emotional well being. They will be sorely missed.
