(May 18, 2018, 8:02 pm)Karel (Carl) from the Oakville Shop is absolutely great to work with. He's done three custom wood projects for me in the last 12 months. I first contacted Karel at the Oakville Shop with what I thought was an odd wood request to build a set of custom size stair stringers that I could not buy at Lowes or Home Depot and I didn't want to cut myself. He was more than happy to build me exactly what I needed and wanted to my exact specifications. He even made suggestions to make my project more functional. His work is impeccable. If you need something made out of wood, large or small the Oakville Shop is the place to call. Karel responds very promptly and his prices are very reasonable. You won't be disappointed, give the Oakville Shop a try.

The owner was very professional, courteous, polite.and he communicated by email precisely the estimated cost, and explained in detail what he would do. The job was completed at the estimated time and it looks beautiful! Kudos to Karel.

I had my graphic designer send Karel a drawing of the sign I wanted made, and he was able to create it. The end result was beautiful and far surpassed my expectations! He communicated very well throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied every step of the way. Overall a terrific experience - friendly, good communication, exceptional work, fair pricing and outstanding result! I hope to use Karel again!
