(October 15, 2018, 10:39 am)I love my new kitchen! I had a vintage 1970's kitchen with little counter or storage space. I knew it was way past time to upgrade and update when a replica of MY kitchen was on display in a prominent museum in North Carolina. Carol guided me through a thorough planning stage that included measuring my tallest stockpots to insure that they would fit between the stove top and lower reaches of the microwave that I wanted installed above it. She made many suggestions about appliance placement, lighting choices, and cabinet configuration that are not only attractive, but also have proved to be most efficient for the way I use my kitchen. When plans were complete, Carol sequentially scheduled the necessary work, deliveries, and work crews so that everything was completed in a timely fashion with little disruption to my daily routine. Mike and his team expertly and quickly installed all the new cabinets, hardware, and those incredible storage drawers. Now I have enough counter space so that when we have family dinners, my helpers have enough space to work on their assigned tasks simultaneously without tripping all over each other or me. This kitchen has stood the test of time and use. It's a joy and I'm grateful for Carol and Mike's time, attention to detail, and their creative talent every day. Thank you, Carmike!
