  Yes, some professors are not as understanding as others... but from my experience as long as you follow the syllabus which is standard for each class and department there won't be any issues. I found it amusing how people barely gave the university a shot... It seems to be more of a personal conflict with their expectations.
  
  The school has been great for me. Challenging. Rewarding. Most importantly, successful. I am very pleased and look forward to being prepared to pursue a Master's. UMUC made this a reality for me.
