  Great place and nice owners. Chris, one of the owners, doubles as a licensed tour guide for Antietam. Breakfast was delicious. Tea and coffee anytime you want.

  Amy and Chris provide the best B&B experience in the DMV. The Inn and it’s grounds are gorgeous. There is a ton of stuff to do in the area. Do yourself a favor and book a reservation.

  Of the more than 30 B & B's that we have stayed at over the years this is one of the best, if not THE best, B & B of them all. The rooms are large, comfortable, and expertly decorated in keeping with the history of the house. The beds are great and the sheets smooth and soft. The breakfast was delicious and service was perfect. Amy made us feel like we were in a very upscale restaurant but she also made us feel relaxed and comfortable. We were just there for one night but when we return to Antietam and Sharpsburg we will definitely stay here. You should too! We have been Innkeepers in Ohio for 16 years so we can attest to the fact that this is the best! Thank you Amy! You and Chris have done a great job in preserving a part of history.

  My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Jacob Rohrbach Inn. We reserved the General’s Quarters and were treated to an incredibly comfortable evening and a delightful breakfast. The owners, Chris and Amy, were very welcoming and a pleasure to talk to, especially when discussing The Battle of Antietam. While this was only our first visit, we will be returning!

  If you like history and first class amenenties along with sincere hospitality then don't waste your money on a hotel during your next trip to Sharpsburg, stay at the Jacob Rohrbach Inn. It's truly the holy grail of bed and breakfasts and you won't find another one like it. I can't wait to go back!
