After three visits to the Inn, I can share it is consistently a 5 star experience. This last visit, several family members came along to celebrate my birthday and attend a Nora book signing. The Inn made sure we were first in line for the signing. We then went to Shepardstown for a lovely lunch at Bistro 112 and shopping in stores with impressively original items. Next couple of days were busy with visiting the Antietam and Harpers Ferry National Parks. Each morning we enjoyed delicious, creative breakfasts at the Inn. The teas, pastries available throughout the day and the wine and cheese each evening are also stellar. We enjoyed delicious dinners at Vesta Pizzeria and Dan’s Tap House, which are within walking distance of the Inn. Several of us also enjoyed a Tarot Card reading at the Inn. The Inn offers different experiences that seem to be well vested and of the same service caliber as the Inn.
I'd highly recommend staying at the inn if you're in the area. They make it extremely conducive to relax and just chill out. Each room is unique and has it's own charm. Make sure to stay for breakfast that they cook every morning, it's always delicious. Also check their website for events, they have various themed weekends throughout the year. Always a good time!
Amazing place to relax! Upscale surrounds with all the comforts of home.
Beautiful inn, delicious breakfast, wonderful staff. Felt like I was in one of Nora Roberts books. Will definitely be going back again
Our room was luxurious! Fresh flowers in our room. The bathroom was to die for: Beautiful tilework, heated floor and towel rack, giant copper tub, and glass-enclosed shower. And, it was all spotless! The staff was so welcoming. Delicious breakfasts. Close to great restaurants, wineries, historic sites and the peaceful countryside. This was our 3rd stay and we will definitely be back.
