Veterans Park

Great place to walk dog and play with grandson.

Beautiful park in Smithsburg Maryland. It has two large pavilions with many picnic tables. Also there is an outdoor basketball court with several hoops. There are two playground that are perfect for toddlers. The mile long track is more of a cross country type setting with many turns and elevations that offer people different exercise stations along the way like sit-ups, chin-ups and balance beam jay to name a couple. During the holiday season the town will do a Christmas lights display throughout the park which is beautiful in every year appears to get just a little bigger

It's a very beautifully well kept park.It's also a peaceful and serene Veterans Park honoring our fallen heroes.There's also a nice memorial honoring a local police officer.

I loved this little park. We attended a birthday party here and it was nice. I liked how they had designated parks for different age groups so I didn't have to worry about my kids getting hurt by older children.

Awesome park... Has a walking path and multiple playground areas. There is something here for kids of all ages. The library is directly behind it so it's an easy stop after visiting there. A fair amount of parking and large fields for playing whatever games the imagination can come up with.
