  Dr. Nitzell is a very kind man, a good dentist and as gentle as he can be when dealing with someone who has dental "issues". The staff is professional and very competent. They are timely when you arrive for your appointment yet somehow always find a way to answer all of your questions.
  
  I have been to this office multiple times over the last two years with several different procedures performed. I don't personally know anyone who gets excited about a Periodontist appointment but when you choose Dr. Nitzell's office, at least you can forget the worry and stress you used to feel at the dentist. All things considered, It's not bad at all.

  Had a trauma to the mouth 20 years ago and loads of work between then and about 10 years ago, when I walked into this office for the first time. Everyone there is warm and friendly. I have been through a lot with my mouth and it never gets easier. They are patient and sympathetic to my being a baby about it. Dr Nitzell gets in and gets out and doesn’t use excessive numbing where you’re numb hours after you leave, which is refreshing. They will work with you on payments if necessary and they still treat you with dignity and respect. This office is top notch and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’d recommend them 100x over.

  My gums were receding so bad that he had to graft almost all my teeth. Nitzell is a nice man, he was able to work around my college student budget, and I see a visual improvement in my gums.

  Dr. Nitzell removed a molar I had a crown on that was abcessed. It was extremely painful & needed done. The year long process of healing, x-rays & then having an implant done was plenty of time to give a review on him & his practice. Every single time I had an appointment, the office was busy but I never waited for more than 15 minutes in the waiting room. They were ALL caring, professional, speedy & knowledgeable. This is not a fun procedure or process, but they made it bearable. He knows what he's doing & gets it done. He's kind, informative & has a sense of humor. The office allowed me to pay monthly since it was a few thousand dollars. I highly recommend this practice. My one & only suggestion is to update the music in the office. It's dreadful & when in pain, something more current would be a good distraction. I will bring family if needed.
