  Such an incredible place. And with a gluten free family it is so nice to have an incredibly experienced chef and staff that know what they are talking about. Highly recommend!!!! One of the best I have ever been to in the USA!

  Always love coming here. Brisket grilled cheese was excellent in the past. Just had the Kale salad, really good and almost too sweet, but rounded out really well with a barrel aged ale, dark and a bit sweet somehow works with it. Crabby pretzel is on par with other places around. Always recommend. Very few shrimp (ordered the addition) on the salad though.

  Our best dining experience since returning to the eastern shore!!! Our food was top notch. We had the pork belly appetizer which was out of this world. The caprese salad had a wonderful pesto dolloped on the plate edges and soft, fresh mozzarella. We chose the brisket platter with cheesy grits and the garlic kale. We tried all 3 sauces for the brisket and we had a hard time selecting our favorite. We followed all of this with the chocolate spoon cake. We were so thrilled with our meal and are planning to return soon. We will be recommending Boxcar 40 to anyone wanting a great food experience. Our waitress was a real pleasure as well. Love this place!!!!

  We absolutely love Boxcar40. The chefs are so creative with their dishes and truly care for their customers. They appreciate local produce and local traditional dishes. Their menu is fairly priced for their quality and their staff appreciates you. Strongly recommend.
