I don't know what all the bad reviews are about. Only doctor I know if im sick he sees me in a matter of hours and don't send me to a walk in clinic. I don't think hes rude, just tells us what we need to here and not what we want. Like if you're overweight and he asked you what your diet is, you say pizza, pizza and pizza he's going to tell you stop eating pizza.

Very intelligent and thinks outside of the box (unlike most Doctors on the Shore). Most people need flattery and sweet talking to think their doctor is any good. I like my doctors to be blunt and get to the point. I was a smoker for many years, (quit over 2 years ago) but believe me every time I went in I had to hear it. But honestly, Doctors should try to persuade you to lose weight and or quit smoking (which he will) because it's UNHEALTHY. He is my suggestion to any one searching for a primary doctor. If you're emotional and get offended about your health situation and need someone to hold your hand then get someone else. Plus I can call and if I have an issue and need to be seen, I can either be seen that day or the next which to me is the most important.
Highly recommend.

Reading the reviews, I'll admit I was pretty nervous to see Dr. Gittelman myself, I have no tolerance for certain personality types. But he was absolutely lovely. Tossed a few jokes, seemed genuinely interested in details I shared of my life while still examining me for my sickness. Very concerned and helpful. Overall, great doctor!

Been a patient at Dr Gittlemans now for 2-3 years. Very helpful and friendly staff. Gigi is awesome, if you ever need copies or info about your medical records, she is on the ball. Maria is very knowledgeable,caring and listens to all your concerns and genuinely cares about your health. Very quick on getting an appointment and quick to be seen. Highly recommend this office.
