“****I want to say how first that during any kind of pandemic also around the holidays emergency rooms get busy and there's always a wait*****. I ended up cutting my hand really good and needing stitches so I had to go to the emergency room. When I got there the front desk people were really amazing, super helpful and always upfront and honest. The triage nurses we're very kind and attentive. Anytime I had a question somebody was nice and helpful. Medical staff have to put up with a lot of different things, and it is a very difficult job and for them to still be nice helpful and sincere it really goes a long way to show that they actually care about their patients. The wonderful PA and PA in training did a spectacular job with my stitches and in helping me feel calm. They also told me what to expect from my stitches and we're very knowledgeable. All in all yes you end up having to wait but that's what happens in emergency rooms and you should expect that especially around the holidays but having a staff that truly cares and puts your needs first and helps keep you calm in stressful situations is an amazing attribute to a hospital. Which is why I'm giving Northwest hospital's emergency room of five star rating”
