But then there's also great food too, some (ok) fairground stuff for the kids, and the truck and tractor pull which is just such a spectacular display of sounds and power that will shake you (literally) to your core. Me and my Mom spent a night in Havre De Grace to visit the city and learn of its history and hunting is a huge part of it. So the museum isn't just about decoys but also tells a lot of the story of the local area. And the decoys on display are art. So it is a art museum and a history museum.”

“Is well worth the visit! Thanks It is not just one museum as we had thought but a collection of museums and a lighthouse that had been moved to the museum grounds. The lighthouse is really special as you can walk up the spiral staircase inside and they have the living quarters and personal belongings of the person that manned the lighthouse just as they had been long ago. The museums are fantastic with many old wooden fishing & crabbing boats with a short description on the history of each. There are many other very interesting artifacts from the fishing and crabbing days on the Chesapeake Bay and a real working boatyard where you can actually see wooden boats being built. If you are in Annapolis there is a ferry from Annapolis to the museum. If you are visiting the Chesapeake Bay area you do not want to miss this museum & lighthouse.”
