“Just all the animals are so awesome, so much to see, be impressed by, be inspired by and the cuteness factor it's off the charts. But then there's also great food too, some (ok) fairground stuff for the kids, and the truck and tractor pull which is just such a spectacular display of sounds and power that will shake you (literally) to your core. And all for a few bucks at the gate. Simply awesome.”

“Well, if you never visited a Decoy Museum I would suggest visiting this one. Me and my Mom spent a night in Havre De Grace to visit the city and learn of its history and hunting is a huge part of it. So the museum isn't just about decoys but also tells a lot of the story of the local area. And the decoys on display are art. So it is a art museum and a history museum.”

“We find the staff friendly, the exhibits interesting and, at least when we visited it, they had a exhibit on Captain John Smith. When scouting out the rivers Havre De Grace happened to be the most northern point of his exploration. A LOT of history in such a small town!”

“Is well worth the visit! Thanks It is not just one museum as we had thought but a collection of museums and a lighthouse that had been moved to the museum grounds. The lighthouse is really special as you can walk up the spiral staircase inside and they have the living quarters and personal belongings of the person that manned the lighthouse just as they had been long ago. The museums are fantastic with many old wooden fishing & crabbing boats with a short description on the history of each. There are many other very interesting artifacts from the fishing and crabbing days on the Chesapeake Bay and a real working boatyard where you can actually see wooden boats being built. If you are in Annapolis there is a ferry from Annapolis to the museum. If you are visiting the Chesapeake Bay area you do not want to miss this museum & lighthouse.”

“This is quaint museum, it is nice and has artifacts from the Civil War Era. To get to the Museum you have to enter the State Park, there is a $3 charge per vehicle. The Museum is by the camping area so you have to stop by the Campground Registration office and get a pass, but they do not charge for the pass, then drop it off in the box before you leave.”
