Absolutely loved the mural on the wall of people and places in DC-even saw a few of our h.s. friends on the wall! Had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was in that day. “I found this place by accident. It's a little hole in the wall tucked away from the main road but it's the best kept secret. I ordered the fish and chicken combo and an order of hush puppies (not seen here because they were too good to photograph!) The fish is Whiting so they're will be bones, but it doesn't take away from the flavor. I loved the flavor of the chicken, you can test a hint of lemon pepper or something that gives it that additional zest. I only gave four stars because I like my chicken to be fried hard and my chicken wasn't. It's not a deal breaker though. The place is clean and there are two bathrooms as well. My experience overall was pleasant.”

The snowball paired well with the food, but was more of a crushed/chopped ice consistency and not the shaved ice it is advertised as. “Attended a family lunch with some out-of-town relatives before attending a funeral. There's a pandemic so we ate outside. Juicy Seafood is a strange name, but the food is very good. I had the fried oyster basket with Cajun fries. It was excellent. Most of the other people in our party had salad with shrimp on top. That looked great. This is a nice venue with free parking. It's clean and neat. The service was friendly and efficient. If you're in the neighborhood at meal time, this is a great place to have a meal. If the weather is good and if you can score an outdoor table, eat outside. Juicy Seafood is in a strip mall. It's far enough from the road that traffic noise and air pollution are minimal. It's much better than a sidewalk café on a busy street.”

“Brenda was so kind to me. She made small talk and was very cordial with the customers in front of me. I observed her offering a patron in front of me a bag for his food before he exited the store and the exchange was very respectful. When it was my turn in line, Brenda offered me a free cup of ice to go with my beverage since it was so hot out. I have never received this level of customer service at a gas station, or other Royal Farms, as I had today. I will now frequent this location on my regular commutes and will be happy to become a regular customer.”

“This was a wonderful dining experience. The staff was very attentive and the food was ready within 10 minutes of ordering and was hot as we could actually see it being prepared in the open kitchen area. The coffee was repeatedly filled without a request and the payment process was amazingly easy as they took cash, credit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and had the ability to scan a barcode on your phone and pay directly from your phone if you do not have other forms of e-payment. There was ample parking and it was very clean and close to a large shopping center.”
