The ground under the play equipment is padded thick rubber which is safe and mud free. Park is smaller. In addition to play equipment, there's a picnic table and a basketball court.”

I can honestly say based on this experience, I feel like I found my long term vet. This staff made me feel so comfortable and I knew my baby was in extremely caring hands. “2 days ago, our family had to make that hard decision that all pet owners have had to make...no matter how many times, it never gets easier. Cold, clinical, and efficient...all while the next furry patient waits for the room. Basin Run was the exact OPPOSITE of this. The ‘Comfort Room’ was warm, and likened to a living room. Housed completely separate from the waiting room and exam rooms, you can grieve privately and leave without passing by other pets and their owners. Our Burger was able to lay in a bed, bask in the sun while looking out at the woods, a tranquil fountain in the corner, a cozy couch...no metal table, no tile floor, no one waiting for the room. I didn’t realize how cold the process typically is, until we were shown it didn’t have to be so. Dr. Smetana and the rest of Basin Run’s staff was incredibly compassionate, soft, and warm. They have the unique ability to make you feel in control, in a situation that is completely out of your control. Without a doubt, this is our go-to vet for every single one of our fur babies, from checkups to their final goodbye.”
