“I've been training my 12 yr old son Simon, daughter Junya and myself with Sunny for a couple of months now with an intense paradigm of 3x/week lessons,often privates with Simon- since I'd like him to play professional tournaments including varsity and intervarsity competitive tennis. Sunny is one of the best tennis teachers I found in LA! He is definitely light-years ahead of our previous one. He has been very professional, dedicated, energetic with state-of-the-art instruction about modern tennis. Lessons are super-tailored to Simon and include agility ladders, topspin training tools, medicine balls etc,not just groundstrokes. He counsels about strength training and nutrition as well to keep the big picture in mind. He's charming and personable with kids, and Simon and he have a lot of fist bumps and laughs. In summary, I'm very glad I found him and I couldn't recommend him more!”

“In late December, I fell at home. While falling, I heard a snap. I thought it was a sprain. The doctor at urgent care told me it was a nondisplaced fracture. The urgent care doctor referred me to Dr. Gowda. I went to Dr. Gowda's Greenbelt office several times over five months. The process was relatively straightfoward. (I did not need surgery.) I would get a prescribed x-ray, come in for a follow up to find out how the bone was healing. I had the opportunity to ask any questions I had. Thankfully, my insurance covered most of the bills. I found Dr. Gowda's care helpful, as I never broke a bone before. I highly recommend his orthopedic practice.”

I recently saw him for the first time (also first time ever seeing a neurologist) and I thought it was a fantastic experience (as fantastic as having to see a neurologist can be). “A follow up to my June 9th post since everyone asked me to let them know how my experience is. I went yesterday morning and finally get my cavity fixed and wisdom teeth removed at Smile Makers in Be Air right next to La Tolteca. The dentist himself thoroughly answered all of my and my husbands questions, gave him specific detailed instructions on how to care for me after my surgery and explain everything to me prior to starting. I was given a powder under my tongue which they said would make me feel sleepy and by the time I feel that I won’t remember anything from that point on. I remember thinking I got slightly sleepy and my eyes a bit heavy, but there was NO WAY! that was going to get me through this procedure. Next thing I know I woke up at home in bed with my husband and kids telling me I need to drink 😲🤯. I don’t remember them even laying my chair back no sound or feeling of anything not even heavy pressure like the dentist said I’d feel. I don’t remember getting out of the dental chair, being rolled to my husbands car in a wheelchair chair, my husband helping me walk into the house, NOTHING!!!! I apparently took the gauze out of my own mouth to get a drink when my husband told me it was time to drink and I don’t remember that either. My kids got me ice packs for my face right away and I’ve been using them heavily. They feel great on my face. I at some point asked my husband to put my hoodie on me because the ice packs made me cold but I don’t remember that either. I’ve been taking medication as prescribed which is basic Tylenol a steroid, naproxen and amoxicillin to prevent infection, no heavy opioids needed and honestly I’m mad I didn’t just get these teeth out sooner. I am uncomfortable but not in serious pain as expected, even to talk although I’m trying not to talk. I was told no food for 24 hours but mandatory 4oz of Gatorade every 15 minutes until I finish a gallon. That was super easy. I woke up this morning with cotton mouth but I got another ice pack sipped a few sips of Gatorade and wiped my lips and front teeth with a wet wash cloth and I feel great all things considered. My top right side with the cavity and removed wisdom tooth has no pain whatsoever it didn’t from the beginning I haven’t looked in my mouth yet but I’m not 100% sure he even truly removed it lol. The left side on top is almost pain free and hasn’t been bad from the beginning as well. My lower left side is causing my the most pain but that is still more than tolerable and it was also the most impacted and the dentist told me in advance it runs directly into a nerve that could possibly be permanently numbed or damaged during the removal of that tooth although very rare. It’s not completely numbed so he did great it’s just much more sensitive than the other areas. Anyway I say all of this to encourage anyone who has been putting of a dental trip to go and to not only go but to go to Dr. Hariri at Smile Makers because he did any incredible job! Best dental experience I’ve ever had for such a big procedure. I’ve had cleanings hurt more than this at other offices - no lie.”

“We were seated and quickly greeted by Kacie. Pleasant greeting, quick order taking, quick delivery of one of the best crab cakes I've ever had! One in our party started with a slice of delicious pepperoni pizza, and wanted a medium sized cup that weren't present at the drink station. Kacie was able to dig one up! I enjoyed my crab cake with a side of fries w/gravy, while the 3rd in our party enjoyed the draft beer/crab cake meal deal. Kacie also told us about the 1/2 off dessert deal, OF COURSE we ALL ordered a decadent dessert!
