“My sons and I spent the Easter weekend at the beautiful Tawesmore Inn. This fully and authentically restored home is in the Arts and Crafts style of architecture. With all of its original woodwork the ambience is warm and welcoming. The hostess, Lisa, greeted us upon arrival with a proper cup of tea and a delicious slice of homemade Smith Island cake. YUM ! I stayed in the Sound Suite. Truly luxurious in every way with a private bath, and a private screened porch. My sons stayed in the guest room on the second floor that features two twin beds. They shared a brand new and very modern spa bathroom. Every morning we met in the dining room for morning coffee and gorged ourselves on a gourmet breakfast that Lisa had prepared. We spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Tawesmore and the breakfast served was different and delicious each day. Lisa was careful to ask us ahead of time if we had any food allergies. She and her husband were thoughtful and gracious. And their little doggie, Buddy, was adorable ! We will be back !!!!! Thank you Lisa.”
