“Awesome infrastructure, fantastic staff. Beauty spot. Very well-maintained campsites for renters and RVs. Very nice restrooms, w hot showers. Kayak and canoe rentals available, which allow fantastic exploration of the marsh that makes up much of the State Park. Great store for camping supplies, and an excellent recreation/education room with displays of the local wildlife, games, books, and an indoor snack/dining room. All air-conditioned for the really hot days where your tent is just too hot. Almost every campsite is well-shaded, but it can still get hot. Nice fire pits for each site. Everything about this state park is wonderful.”

“Calco's Assisted Living is a one of a kind place!! The staff is friendly, the home is beautiful and the environment is just like a home. The residents spend time together playing games, watching TV, talking, reading and doing other exciting activities. They are fed delicious home cooked meals. It is exclusive and houses less than 10 people so everyone has plenty of room and they are able to get one on one attention from the staff. I have gone with my children and spent time with the residents because they love to talk to company. It is a priveledge to live in this family-type community. The prices are affordable and the location is safe and scenic. Calco's truly is state of the art elder care.”
