  Beautiful place. So peaceful. Lots of turtles in the water. People were there fishing, kayaking and walking their dogs.

  I was actually at the Blackstone River and Canal Park in Uxbridge, a few miles upriver from the Gorge. The Blackstone is a river filled with great views, wonderful hiking and biking, and opportunities for watercraft. Both Massachusetts and Rhode Island have good parks along what was "the hardest working river in the country."

  Beautiful and well maintained park. The Chasm Loop trail is rocky and it's fun to climb around but it isn't for everyone. Wear good shoes!
