The largest and most complete history museum for the town of Freetown and surrounding area. Definitely worth a trip to check it out. Check website for schedule of events and hours. Can easily spend a few hours there . Excellent staff and volunteers to answer any of your questions. Highly recommend checking it out with family and friends.
Awesome local historical site for the whole family
For a small town museum this place is as good as it gets. Impeccably maintained on a large plot of land it is a stunning display of New England memorabilia. One roomed school house, blacksmith shop, farm equipment etc
This was a very pleasant experience.
Tons of interesting local history and other memorabilia in their museum, cars, military, farming and industrial artifacts, historical buildings and of course don't miss their working blacksmith shop!
Nice collection and facilities. Good group of energetic volunteers.
