Michael is the best instructor around. Nice to know that there is still someone in the area that does it for the love of martial arts and helping others, and is great at what he does.
Sensei is a gifted teacher, he not only teaches karate skills but teaches confidence, respect; I highly recommend Lotus Studios.
Highly skilled, nice sensei who is always seeking more knowledge (5th degree black belt last I knew) . Michael is into teaching, he doesn't use gimmicks and novelty to appease those who just want a babysitter. The adult students and kids love learning as he makes it enjoyable as they seriously progress. Very reasonable $$ for group and private lessons. My adult son went from classes when he was young to private lessons and is now a highly skilled competitor (3rd degree BB thus far).

Sad we moved out the area but Sensei Killion at Lotus taught my kids and was a wonderful, patient instructor who made learning Karate really fun. He has an amazing way with children and after looking at our new home for years ... we have not found an instructor even close to his caliber.
