Boy Scout Park

Great park, especially on sunny days because there are hide outs and shady areas. I really like that many of the areas that kids run their hands along are made of composite materials so they don't get splinters. It really is a very cool place to let their imaginations run wild.
There are sand pits, so if that's not your thing, be aware. It's also not easy to keep anl close eye on everything because of the park set up, but it's amazing for independent play.

Older, yet well taken care of large wood/fake wood mix play ground. Handy capable Porta potty on site. Nice walking paths that all loop together in woods behind play area.

Clean. Ample parking.

Great park with lots if activities from swings and slides to exploring a castle, climbing a rope ladder, and sliding down a fireman pole. It's very clean and the bark mulch is nice and soft to cushion the falls. Working shovels to scoop up the sand and dump into a truck makes it very fun. I rate it 4 out 5 stars for one reason. There are 2 nice picnic tables in the park with a big sign that says NO EATING. Why would you put them in the park then? The tables outside of the park grounds are old and beat up. Put new picnic tables outside and I would use them.

A nice playground for kids 2 to 10 y.o. Very quiet and out of the way. There is also a large sports area for baseball, softball, soccer, frisbee, etc. In the late afternoon there is often a softball or little league game when mom's bring younger children to play in the playground.
