(July 14, 2019, 2:31 pm)Varied terrain, 19th century cabin foundation and hearth overlooking Goose Cove Reservoir. Access from Dennison St or from the reservoir's northeast corner, where the JerryMannDer trail begins, leading east towards Whale's Jaw.

(April 22, 2018, 12:26 am)Plenty of topography situated in a compact area. Parking, or lack thereof, is the Achilles heel of this property. Maybe three smart cars could squeeze into the allocated shoulder, but I'd call it two "spaces". Greenbelt has done a great job with their maps but the noted "Vista" at Carter does not quite live up to the Thompson reservation standard. Don't miss the trails into Dogtown.
