Had a lovely time seeing whales! Saw lots of humpbacks. Our guide was quite helpful and well informed. Only downside was that the ship was packed with people so while it was a nice whale watch it wasn’t as nice a ride on a boat (ship?). Would love to do this again with fewer people.

This has been one of the best days out on the water I've had for some time, gushed the naturalist. Maybe she always say that; maybe this time it was true. Who cares. We saw scores of dolphins, five humpbacks, possibly an Orca. Amazing day, worth it at twice the price.

Great whale watching tour. My first ever and we saw so many, at least seven humpback whales, five super up close, along with about a dozen dolphins and a rouge porpoise.
Pretty good food and they take cash or credit. I would recommend bringing cash because you start a tab that you have to pay when they get close to shore (too weak of a signal otherwise).
The staff were awesome. The expert tour guide not only provided a flurry of information, including the names of some of the whales she was able to identify, but was also super friendly. The galley (food counter) staff was very friendly and helpful. They were fast and gave extra info like our location, etc.
Lots of indoor seating, maybe not enough for everyone if it is a packed ship, but they have plenty of outdoor seating too. BONUS, they have a few outlets that you can charge your phone, etc. with in a pinch. You should make sure that all of that is charged before you get on the boat because that rouge Harbor Porpoise jumped out of the water about 10-15 minutes out from port.
Beyond the facts the tour guide provided via the ship’s audio system, there were many other opportunities to learn about whales. Some of the staff walked around before we really got farther out and showed everyone a whale tooth from a baleen type of whale. They also answered questions and allowed you to touch it. There are posters and a small whale library in the back of the ship. Excellent for kids and adults alike.
I would definitely recommend this whale watch tour. There are great views all around, but I found the top deck to be better because you view is less obscured by the waves or the massive animals, themselves. Plus, you can look at both sides of the ship quickly if the animals are quickly surfacing on different sides or if there is more than one surfacing at the same time.

This was hands down the best tour! Yes, it was my first whale watch but I’ve done others like dolphin and other ocean tours. Unfortunately I was busy chasing around my two year old so I don’t remember the woman’s name who was the tour guide. She did a phenomenal job giving us history about the bay and the animals we saw on our trip. She had extensive knowledge about the dolphins and humpbacks and was the best tour guide I’ve had as well. All the staff were great. I saw a few guys helping out some people who got sick and kept checking on them for the duration of the tour.
If I remember correctly we saw about 16 humpbacks and 40 common dolphins. It was something I will never forget! The dolphins were jumping in and out of the water, playing in the waves created by the boat. The humpbacks were amazing to see and so beautiful. It was truly magical! Please do a tour here it is well worth it.

We were lucky to be able to see whales play peek a boo with the boat! We also saw some "mugging" - a good thing with whales! Samantha was awesome at telling us where to look. Carol took great care of my husband when he got seasick.
The captain was good about moving the boat to make sure we saw the whales for as long as possible. The boat itself has bathrooms and a warm cabin with a small snack bar and quite a few tables.
A fabulous trip thanks to crew, amenities, and of course, nature!
The location of 7 seas is right by a large parking lot, $5 for the day. The staff on the boat was clear in what we could expect to see and where we would go on the trip. When my husband started feeling bad, a few of the crew seemed to be assigned to assist with that. They made sure to collect all the seasick people and do what they could to make them feel better (back of the boat, ginger candy, throw up bag, etc). They were very friendly and walked around checking on all the guests. They gave as much notice as possible for where the whales would be popping up. They shared how we could watch for them too. There was a lot of educational facts sprinkled into the fun viewing.
