Great selection, good prices, and friendly people - I recommend!
Went to the yarn shop today with my mother. We loved every aspect of it; the interaction with the kind lady who helped us, the prices of the yarn and the overall atmosphere. It is the best yarn shop that I have ever been in!
This is a wonderful locally owned yarn store with a wide selection of quality yarns at very good prices. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and if they don't have what you need in the store, they will track it down for you.
So happy to have a yarn shop so very close to home, and with fabulous people. They are very helpful with advice and time. A nice big table to sit and knit. Richard will find anything you are looking for. They carry all the usual name brands of yarn and some really fantastic special yarns, as well. If they don't have it at Merrimack they probably do at their sister store in Gloucester, and will get it for you. I really like the people and atmosphere here. The Facebook page will tell you the daily specials.
Dropped in Saturday, not fully stocked yet, but had some great yarns and fabulous embroidered tote bags. Lots of stitch markers to put on a bracelet... will return with friends soon.
