  Off the beaten path..well it is the beaten path but great reservation. The reservation is clean (overall) and the rangers are very curtious and helpful.

  Love this place. Sorry pics weren't better but I was busy beach combing. Lots of huge rocks when the tide is out. Locals cleaning up the trash to keep it clean. Birds, beach, sunsets, rocks, serene nature. Ohhh, and some purple sand...I don't know why! :)

  Beautiful place to visit in the winter. There is a huge expanse of beach to walk along at low tide. It can be difficult to find a place to park but try anyway. You can always double back to parking lot 6. Crane Beach is visible across the water. It is possible to wade here, but swimming too far out would be dangerous because of cross-currents. Walk around Bar Head to Emerson's Rocks.

  Other than the parking issues, always a great place to spend the day with the family.
  
  Not only do they need more parking spaces constructed, but the parking attendants need to pay more attention how people park, and need to have the authority to throw people out who don't comply
