“The restaurant was very nice. The waiter was very attentive. It had nice soft music so I could have a conversation with my friends and not have to yell at them. The food was a little to spicy for me. I know it's a Mexican restaurant but I figure if I want it hot I could at the hot sauce myself.. i had trouble eating it. I had a very nice Margherita .”

“I finally got to try this place. I was not disappointed because it was what I had expected. The food I had chosen was good,however,the broccoli was not the freshest in town. I was trying to balance the bad with the good, the fall off the bone ribs with broccoli, so it was important for my broccoli to be as fresh as fresh can be! I guess that it was just not the case at that time. I will go back again in the near future and try it one more time, then I will rewrite my review.”

I happened to catch the dollar a shuck oyster night I had half a dozen and wish I had gotten the whole dozen. I don't think you could go wrong eating most anything off or the menu here especially if you like seafood! I will certainly be eating here again soon I hope it's Buck a shuck night!”

Not going into details but there was an issue with one of our orders and the owner/manager (not sure which) came out immediately and explained the situation. It is not often that you get that kind of service. No excuses or blame just resolutions. I'm very impressed! Fajitas were good. Be sure and ask for the spicy salsa. It's very good! “My family was staying at a nearby hotel, and I picked white horse for dinner on a Friday night based on Google reviews. Great choice! Seemed like mostly local customers. Google description says "fine dining" but it's not, more of a local bar with great food. Seafood was really fresh, cooked well, and reasonably priced. Chowder, scallops, onion rings, spinach, fish tacos were all excellent. Everything was on the"well-seasoned" side bordering on spicy, which I like. Two kids shared a 10" pizza that was easily 14". Pizza sauce was a little too sweet for me, but I'm from Chicago and that's probably personal preference. Service was very friendly and attentive.”

“Came here for the first time. We just moved nearby and I wanted to check the place out and see what the food was like. Our server was great and very attentive even though she was waiting most of the room. It wasn't crowded, which was nice because we could pick where we wanted to sit. The menu has about 10 or 12 main dishes, but the selections are all classics and everyone should be able to find one they like. There are also burgers, sandwiches, and pizzas, as well as a good assortment of appetizers. I ordered the stake tips with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. My wife got the baked haddock with Ritz cracker crumbs, and the mashed potatos, and broccoli. Both dishes were great! Portions were good for the price. we left very full and had to skip dessert this time around. We'll be going back soon.”

“This place is a great spot for lunch, and it looks like they have a setup that turns into more of a bar experience in the evening, although I've only come here a few times for lunch. The portions are very generous, you wont leave hungry. Also, the free chips and salsa are always hot and fresh. I cant believe this place is always empty when I come for lunch.”
