Lots to do here. Larger area than expected.
A great spot to stop and spend some time learning about local wildlife. Fascinating displays that would interest adults and children alike.
Love visiting with the grandkids. Have been several times and still have not seen it all. Great info at the visitor center, so stop by there, get a map and talk to the folks there. Very helpful.
Absolutely breathtaking views, with a clear beach to walk on in the middle of winter. The juxtaposition of ocean and snow separated by sand was surreal. I would recommend to anyone into birdwatching or walking on beaches.
These are well kept lands. You can visit some beach areas or more wooded areas depending on what you are looking for. I have spotted Piping Plover, Black Backed Gulls, and so many ducks. This is a great place to take the family, if are looking to enjoy nature, or if you just want to spot many unique mammals and birds.
