  The service was very friendly and the food was excellent. Great find. Will recommend to everyone.

  I was at Michael's Harborside to photograph a High School Reunion.
  The facilities and staff are first rate. The staff was very accommodating and attentive. The food was excellent and fresh. The Reunion was successful due to both the HS Reunion committee and the professional hosting of Michael's.
  
  As as an aside, Michael's Harborside is a great place to hangout and/or dine with beautiful views of Newburyport's harbor and city skyline...

  Sat outside on a beautiful day and thoroughly enjoyed lunch. Great chowder! Croquet Monsieur was good but not authentic. Was fine as a nice ham sandwich. The house made chips are amazing! Great experince!

  the food was great and the service. I wish servers and hostesses would take notice of senior citizens tho. when there is plenty of room, next to the kitchen and on the aisle where the door to the deck brings in a blast of cold air...not a good spot. It is noisy anyway and even harder as we age. But it is a lovely spot with good food and service.

  Our server Shannon was very attentive to our needs/wants as busy as she was.
  Fried clams were excellent, per the bride!
  As was my French dip.
  Drinks were very good.
  Excellent value for the price.
  We'll go back before summer is done.
