    Great ride. About an hour to salem, felt like 15 minutes. Very cool

    Everything was on time. The ride to Salem was interspersed with educational tidbits about the things we saw out the windows. Nice crew as well.

    Wish they didn't post the bit about showing up 45 minutes ahead of departure. They should just say to not be late....

    Cool experience to see the greater Boston area from the ferry. I left on the 2:30pm ferry and returned on the 7:00pm. Both ways were very cool and enjoyable to see. If you're not in a hurry to get north, I recommend taking the ferry and having a drink (yes, there is a bar and food service area onboard). It probably isn't ideal for those who can't handle boats as it has the rocking of a smaller boat. It is, however, a pleasant and peaceful trip for those who can handle a bit of rockiness.

    What a lovely ferry ride! It takes just under an hour to get to Salem from Boston and Jim was such a great narrator, on our way there he gave us all the history about the islands and Boston wharfs, etc. He was super nice and answered our questions about the Salem trolley that we wanted to do when we got there. Getting into Salem was super easy but when we went back to Boston, we had to wait a few minutes for some other boats in the harbor to clear so we could get in but that's to be expected on such a busy beautiful day.

    The ride was smooth and it was the perfect way to get to Salem!
