(January 19, 2020, 11:03 am)Took my wife there for a different kind of date night. Staff was externally friendly and helpful. My wife didn’t even know how to hold a gun. I mean almost didn’t even know what part of the firearm to grab when picking it up. The staff spent about 30 min showing her how to shoot and be safe. Super patient and helpful. Would love to take her again. Great idea for couples if your sick of doing movies and dinner. Try and go when they are not busy. It can be very intimidating for a first time shooter when it’s crowded.

(October 25, 2019, 11:13 am)My favorite place to shoot granted i've only visited a handful of ranges in new england. These guys are cool, professional and knowledgeable. Even tho the store isn't "big" per sè, its clean and organized and offers great gear for sale or rental. They have about 8 lanes ...but ive never waited for a spot and 18$ affords you all day access!

(July 22, 2019, 12:10 pm)Well, it’s indoors, and it’s a gun range and retail gun store. I think there are 8 lanes available and I can usually get one with no waiting (at least during the week). This place serves my needs well, but it’s not fancy and it’s getting pretty run-down. The lanes are sort of dark, and the heating/cooling system is essentially non-existent. The guys at the counters are friendly and business-like, but that’s ok with me. Not a lot of inventory in the store but they’ll order anything you want in pretty short-order. Ammo is priced well, if you’re a member.

The management and staff are very cool! Prices are great too. Made my day Carl! Thanks buddy! Highly recommended.

(March 28, 2019, 11:48 am)Came to Bob's Shooting Range with a couple of former co-workers of mine on a Saturday, early afternoon to... shoot some guns. We arrived after what seemed like a pretty long drive from Boston, which took nearly an hour because of the snowy conditions and nearly drove right by the place. It's located in the back of another building off of this small road. We made it, parked in the busy lot and got in line for a range.
They don't usually let four people share one lane but made an exception for us because they were busy so we crammed inside of it, in the far corner of the range, by the tiny furnace.
We were able to rent two guns at a time at $10 a pop and bought a bunch of ammo from them as well. We were also able to swap out any firearm for another at the extra cost of $10 a pop and were also able to add-on stuff like targets as well. The range is separated from the actual store/county by one access point featuring a double door. People in the range or in the store can see one another because of window separating both sides as well. The range isn't very big and has about ten lanes at most. It isn't particularly well lit and the ventilation system is actually pretty bad. But it isn't a bad place to go to if you ever want to shoot some rounds and I'd totally go again. Just make sure that you time in right because otherwise you'll be waiting for a range for quite a bit of time, especially as the day progresses and even more so on weekends.
