“Cute spot in town center, parking is a bit challenging. My 2 friends and I sat at the bar and the service was friendly and fast. We ordered fried pickles to start and those were incredible. Didn't realize they had sushi and scored on 1/2 price Monday ( 1 per person) sushi was very tasty and fresh. With that we ordered the chopped Greek salad. It was great, overloaded with tomatoes but still good - I love chickpeas in my salad. I recommend for casual dinning.”

“Friend told me about this place. We ordered a pick up a head of time. We order a large pepperoni and two sides of bleu cheese. The pizza looked a little overcooked and appearred to be thin. “This was a very surprising little find! Perfect definition of little hole in the wall spot. We totally overlooked it the night before, but I happened to spot it after getting my coffee just a couple doors up. We got the Mango Muscle and the Apple Lemon Finger Cleanse. The smoothie was phenomenal! Exactly what we were looking for! Typically we consider ourselves health conscious and very good at maintaining a healthy diet, so when on Vacation that is incredibly difficult to manage. And we try to avoid the chain locations. So finding this was EPIC! The guy running the place was very informative and took his job very seriously. And I mean that in the most complimentative way possible. I was looking for something ginger-y and to sorta smooth my stomach from All the taffy, ice cream, pastries, coffees, drinks, lobsters ETC…… and he suggested the perfect blend for me. It was strong with the ginger but I loved it! Now we know what we’ll be hitting up on our returning visits! Awesome to know it’s around!”

“First time trying the Fox Creek Tavern. Called ahead and put my name in because it was a bit of a drive. Food was really good. I ordered the Bang Bang shrimp for an app and the BBQ steak tips for my meal. The only thing I can complain about was the green beans, they were a bit hard. Other than that everything was delicious! My mom ended up ordering the Mac and cheese grilled cheese. She enjoyed it. No complaints.”

The food was delicious and the view was spectacular. 1) Brackett’s Fish Cakes (a local favorite!): Homemade fishcakes served with newburg or old bay sauce. 2) Fried Shrimp Plate. We loved everything. “I took my daughter out for breakfast today to a cute little hidden gem called The Periwinkle cafe What a delicious meal! Everything was cooked perfectly, well seasoned with very generous portions. I’ll list our orders below: - Periwinkle special: Two eggs (any style), choice of 3 meats, home Fries or baked beans, choice of toast & 1 pancake or one slice of French toast I got my eggs over easy, grilled English muffin, home fries, a pancake, double bacon and grilled Portuguese chourico. Everything was very tasty! Loved how crispy/crunchy both the English muffin and bacon were. But the standouts were definitely the chourico and the home fries. Both were fantastic.. great flavor and the home fries are cooked with caramelized onions (which I love!) -Smoked Salmon Benedict :English muffin topped with two poached eggs, smoked salmon & hollandaise sauce (comes with home fries, beans or fresh fruit on the side) . My daughter said this was amazingly delicious! Perfectly poached eggs, creamy buttery hollandaise, grilled English muffins, salmon was tender with a nice Smokey flavor.. paired beautifully with the rest of the dish. The decor is nautical themed.. there are a bunch of little tables and a long bench (with pillows) along the front wall. Cute, clean and cozy.. little hand written signs throughout, with one listing their muffins of the day. (I believe todays offerings were corn, blueberry and chocolate chip). Waitress was super friendly and attentive. I have to make a special mention of the prices.. it is such a good deal! Everything we got (including coffee) it all only came to 25 dollars total (that’s with tax too!).. given the portion sizes and quality of food, that’s an insane bargain. I can’t recommend this place enough. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!”
