  This pharmacy is a breath of fresh air after dealing with the large chain pharmacies (CVS) for years.
  
  Both the counter staff and the pharmacists are knowledgeable and pleasant. More importantly, they are genuinely helpful and give you time and attention that is sorely lacking at the big chains. In several cases the pharmacists have taken the time to note medication changes, dosage changes, or just something that they thought was unusual. They are always happy to spend a minute to answer your question, despite the fact that I can see they are always very busy. I see the same faces behind the counter every time I go in, which is a nice reminder that they are probably familiar my family's history and needs.
  
  Soon after I started patronizing this store a pharmacist noted something odd with my son's prescription and spent some significant amount of time tracking down a subtle and confusing problem (caused by our insurance company) and then called me out of the blue to help me sort it out. She probably saved me a dozen hours of phone calls with our insurance.
  
  I was so grateful that I have switched EVERY ONE of my family's prescriptions to Acton Pharmacy, even though I live 15 minutes away (and there is a CVS 3 minutes from my house).

  Excellent customer service! Pharmacists are ready to answer questions. Front store employees are helpful.

  I used a civilian pharmacy (Active Duty military, usually go on base for medications, but the wait would have been 2.5 hours today) for the first time. The staff was nice and my prescription was filled quickly. They also made sure to mention possible medication hazards to me, which you don't often see with a busy place. I definitely appreciated the quality customer service and would return again.

  This place is a find. Not like the chain drugstores. You will receive friendly, helpful service and they carry actual medical supplies and provide compounded pharmaceuticals. A real asset to the West Acton community.

  Friendly, professional, personal service. Much much better than the chain store pharmacy machines. A true neighborhood drugstore.
