Donna's workshop on anxiety in children was very informative with great action items for parents. I would definitely attend another workshop and recommend them to parents who need support and resources!
Donna Shea is not only the Founder and Teacher at the Peter Pan Center in Boxborough, MA but she is also an engaging Workshop Facilitator! I have attended many of her workshops in person and she keeps you riveted with her vast knowledge, strategies and advice. Due to the recent Pandemic, Donna created Zoom Sessions to bring forth her Workshops. They were outstanding! She not only leads the workshop with a calming presence but she also brings forth a wealth of knowledge. Everything she relays is worth writing down! She also compliments the Workshops with a slide show that she generously gives to you to keep. (A wonderful packet that can be utilized immediately!) She is a true gem in the field of thoughtfully and respectfully teaching and guiding her students to not just survive ~ but Thrive!
I cannot begin to show my gratitude for Donna Shea.
I was looking for answers as to why my kind, creative, intelligent second grader was constantly getting in trouble at school.
Donna has stellar insight into behavioral science and presents in a format that is easy to grasp.
Through some of her workshops, I realized many of the behaviors my son was displaying were symptoms of ADHD.
It was a HUGE piece of the puzzle for our family.
We are now learning how to most effectively support him to be successful so he can enjoy being a kid again.
I Absolutely recommend Donna and The Peter Pan Center. 💖
I enjoy the workshops with Donna Shea. She is so knowledgeable and I have learned so much on how to approach the children. I work at a school and it is very helpful. She has taught me different approaches to take and on how to get to know the child and to understand where the child is coming from before I enforce the discipline. Also it has helped me understand the ADHD child and a child with anxiety. At the end of each workshop, she sends you a certificate and the power point she used at the workshop. She also lets you interrupt with a question and will stay after the power point to answer questions. I have attended around 10 of her workshops and I have learned so much from each one of them. Don’t hesitate to attend her workshops. You will be pleased.
