    Great place for trail running that also connects to Great Brook Farm.

    This town forest is great for a easy hike with the kids. We went as part of a decorated tree hunt in town, however we also go in the summer, there are a few geo cashes. It seems like it's a popular place for dog walkers, my son calls it the dog poop place because of the abundance of dog poop bags near the parking lot. There is a large rock area along the blue trail that tue kids like to climb on and explore. Its easiest to get to if you take a right at the entrance. You can also get into great brook from here.

    One of our favorites in town, one of the largest, play it connects to Great Brook Farm. Nice rock formation in the middle to explore.well marked trails, good for a family day trip.

    Love to get outside and go for a walk and walking the trails in this park, do the trick for me. Trails lead you past a horse farm, large ponds and open fields. On the weekends, there are usually many people in the forest walking with their dog(s).
