The money management app and perks are really cool!
The app takes too long to log into, and the services there fail a lot. They need to work on their IT side and investing there.
Not 5 stars because I recently got off the phone and the person was rude. She hung up without asking if I needed anything else, or at least a goodbye. She sounded annoyed through the process of understanding how to apply for a personal loan.
These are fundamental, customer service routines. So everyone else giving MITFCU the 1 star for rudeness, I wholly sympathize with them. I will update this review over time as I continue being a member, ESPECIALLY if I continue experiencing rude, customer-UNFRIENDLY behavior. Each encounter is 1 star off.
I think the 1st reviewer has the wrong bank.  I have been with MITfcu for more than a decade.
1.  I've lived in Florida the past 6 years and had no trouble banking thru shared branches.
3.  Been cashing checks with the app for at least 5 years now.
4.  Never has a fee I felt was unfair not like they are Bank of America.
If you qualify for this credit union go for it.  Great rates and always helpful on the phone.
