  Staff is friendly and know what instruments they sell. If you have want to learn guitar,drums, trumpet, or piano. They have instructors for a fair price to teach the instruments your child or adult wants to learn. They also do instrument repair. Finally the price are the best in the area.

  Gary and Bob were absolutely delightful to have help us. I am a beginner in playing guitar and they helped me listen to different guitars and allowed me to play what I can. They gave me space and stepped in when needed. Much different than big box stores where people don't seem at all interested if you buy or don't or passionate about wanting to learn or not. Prices are the same so quality is what is at stake. You can tell they are passionate about the products they sell and about music in general. I will be back in the future. Thank you!

  Heard about this location from an acquaintance. I recently have gotten into a situation with more free time. Always wanted to play guitar but for many reasons I put it off. Went to another local store and purchased a guitar with little to no interaction with the staff. After learning more and playing for about five months I determined my initial purchase was not right, the guitar was just to big. Went into Minor Chord and was immediately greeted by the staff and asked if they could help. After listening they pulled out a number of guitars and after about an hour made a decision on a Martin Junior Dreadnought. The price was comparable to the big box stores and no pressure to buy any extras. If I had to name a negative I would say that your not free to handle the merchandise without a store representative. This could also be looked at as a plus since there are not a million potential hands playing with your future purchase. The large box stores are a good place to try a few and be left alone. I'll be doing business with the minor chord even though i'm passing a number of other music stores on my way to get there. Great customer service, highly recommended.

  This is a great music store! A lot of nice instruments and learning tools packed into a small but comfortable area! Friendly staff, no pressure and very knowledgeable!
