THIS MIGHT BE THE MOST VALUABLE REVIEW YOU READ ON THIS COMPANY. Hi, my name is Phil, I have over 100, 5 star reviews on my business in my field, my "worst" review is a 4 out of 5 stars, one. I started my career reviewing companies in my field and using those companies for my clients as a consultant when all I had was my REPUTATION.
I used Monster to do a move in December 2018 and here is why this might be the most important review you'll ever read on this company. An error was made, a pretty significant one, I ain't gonna lie I was kinda P'd and they MADE IT RIGHT.
It's easy to earn great reviews when everything goes right. What DEFINES a company is what happens when something doesn't, what do they do? I had posted on my social media asking friends for recommendations on moving companies and I got a lot of responses. But when I started reviewing each company every last one of them had situations where it looked like they were "rug sweeping" this excuse, that or the other when they messed up. My friends were just in that part of the pie that didn't have any problems with them.
There is NO finer quality of a company than when a mistake is made, than to address it. There's never a company out there that will never make a mistake, mine included, that's just being human. BUT there are only a handful of companies that will grab a mistake by the horns and do the right thing. THAT'S the defining quality in a business, whatever it might be. Monster Movers please never lose sight of this quality, it truly sets you apart from the rest of your field. Unless that change's I'll never use any other service if these guys are available, that's all I need to know. Thanks, Phil
I love Monster Movers - the crew of Joey, Myles and Greg did a phenomenal job moving me from Avalon Marlborough to Avalon Newton. I hired Monster because I saw their guys moving a neighbor and I their vibe was very professional. When it came time for me to move my Greg came in did my bill with me and brought me a freaking box of donuts from Dunkin! The move itself went flawless - with Joey cracking jokes about my dog and (lack of) my ability to seal boxes correctly . Finding movers you can trust is pretty rare so hire Monster! :)
I used Monster Movers for a move from Marlborough to Quincy and they were fabulous. The movers wrapped everything and put all my furniture together for me at my new place. I can tell you this company is way more professional than others I have seen. I moved to the West of Chestnut in Quincy and have seen other moving companies come thru that have nothing wrapped and literally throw stuff of of the truck. Monster Moving is professional and won't break the bank either.
The movers were very polite and answered any questions we had along the way. Before the move, my moving specialist, Sara, was very professional and knowledgeable about moving which made me feel like I chose the right company. I have recommended Monster Movers to many friends and will use them again in the future.
Used for a local move from Newton to Marlborough. Lead mover was great at dividing responsibility and staff was very helpful guiding us through the process of moving. We will be using them again for a long distance move for my parents.
