“I had been suffering from severe upper back pain for several years, caused by stress and sitting in front of a computer. My doctor suggested I take Tylenol, but I didn't want to, because I knew it would only mask the problem, not solve it. I wanted to get acupuncture treatment, but my provider, Neighborhood Health Plan, will only cover acupuncturists who are also medical doctors. Fortunately, they referred me to Comprehensive Medical Services. Over the past eight months, I have been treated by both Dr. Doyle and Hudson Doyle. They explained the nature of my problem thoroughly, as well as their approach: traditional Chinese acupuncture, which requires two treatments per week for the first few months. I assured Hudson that I was willing to commit to two weekly visits, because I really wanted to get better. Within the first few weeks, my back pain began to disappear, and was almost entirely gone within three months. In addition, I slept better and had more energy than ever before. Hudson said that acupuncture helps the body heal itself, and it does. In fact, the treatment makes me feel so much better that I now look forward to my appointments. ”
