  Kate and Amy are both kind and generous professionals. They are both knowledgeable in their field of expertise and highly skilled in addressing the needs of their clients. I worked mostly with Kate and she was able to resolve a chronic challenge I had in my feet that multiple modalities and various traditional and alternative professionals were unable to fully address. In addition, Kate was extremely supportive and intuitive when I recently needed acute whole-body recovery after an extended complex surgery. Amidst all this Kate, is fun, attentive and makes each visit enjoyable while her clients progressively gain greater strength, endurance, range of motion and healing. Kate makes her schedule as adaptable as possible to fit in the best care for all her clients. Both Kate and Amy have the proper training and specialization to support the needs of their clients on many levels. I would wholeheartedly recommend SP as your “go-to” PT professionals - as I already have offered their name to many folks I know in need of this type of service.

  I could not be more satisfied with my care at Specialized PT. I have a genetic condition called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome which has resulted in extensive joint and soft tissue problems throughout my body and many functional impairments. Over the years, prior to finding Specialized, I had been to see several other physical therapists, but wasn't able to find the care I needed: standard approaches failed me again and again. Finding Specialized was a turning point in my care, and also in my life. When I started coming in 21 months ago, I was determined, but sincerely overwhelmed by the amount of daily pain and volume of issues to be dealt with. We have worked together, weekly, for around 21 months, and Kate has been consistently patient, attentive, inquisitive, and persistent - in spades- in helping me regain control over my functioning. Her knowledge, guidance, encouragement, and hands on soft tissue work have kept me moving forward physically and helped me feel empowered personally in a very challenging situation, and I am stronger now than I ever thought possible. I've spent a great deal more time in medical settings than most, so when I relate the truly exceptional standard of care at Specialized, I do so having a broad basis for comparison. This practice is Wonderful! In addition to their medical skills, Kate and Amy are both such welcoming and kindhearted people. It has been such a pleasure to be a patient here; they're The Best.

  I've never gone to physical therapy for anything, but when I got a hip flexor injury that prevented me from running track I had to have it heal, and I'm so glad I came here. Kate worked on my hip for my PT sessions and she was so nice and fun to talk to and she taught me all these exercises and stretches to help with my injury. She was happy to talk about how all the exercises and massages help to heal the muscle and it was great to be able to understand how it works. My hip was healed in almost no time and I was able to run in every meet of the track season in a season I didn't expect to run in at all.

  I usually don’t write reviews but Kate and Amy are so incredible at SPT, I had to spread the word! I’ve only gone to PT for smaller ankle issues in the past in my hometown but after my hip surgery I am so glad I’ve been able to come here. I’ve worked mostly with Kate who has been so knowledgeable, has helped me become stronger, educate me on certain techniques and helped me overcome my fears. Kate is so caring and personable. They both give you 100% of their time while you’re there working 1:1. Kate’s helped me get back into my own gym and took the time to write down exercises I can do at my gym and at home. With being a nurse I was nervous about returning to work where I stand all day and lift my patients etc. Kate helped me with lifting and other work related tasks. She made sure I was able to return to work confidently. She also made sure I could continue PT once I started back at work to monitor how I was feeling. Without Kate I wouldn’t be where I am now. Both Amy and Kate are amazing and I would recommend anyone who needs PT to go here!

  Excellent Experience! Everyone is extremely friendly and patient focused. I have been working with Kate, she is extremely professional and approachable. Kate has taken the time to explain my knee injury, what to expect and what my body needs in order to heal. I highly recommend!
