This is a very nice, relatively large, forested area with many trails for hiking, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, or bird-watching, etc. It is open during daylight hours and conveniently located for people living in Boston's western suburbs. Once inside the reserve suburban sounds disappear, and you might forget that only a few minutes early you entered from a busy road.

Great hike though the snow. Marshes were beautiful. Interesting tracks from local wildlife.

Beautiful trail for walking and biking. We saw an otter and a lot of butterflies which was cool. Remember have mosquito repellant with you. Around the swamp gets really crazy with them.

Nice trails, plenty of free parking. Helpful staff in the visitor center on the weekends.
