  We hired Peter and his team to reside our house and they did a fantastic job. Peter is very responsive, his team his professional and of high quality. The job site was clean everyday and they were meticulous with their work. If you want a quality job done, PS Berube is the team you should hire!

  I hired Peter for a fairly big job - new 10x6 laundry room addition along with kitchen and 2 bath reno in Summer of 2018. Peters crew were super friendly, accommodating and always showed up on time. Everything came out great - I especially loved that his crew -Sam! - was able to do a lot of custom requests I had for my industrial farmhouse design! Sam built a custom reclaimed wood hood vent, custom vanity for vessel sink, custom valance and cast iron rustic shelves! Great work!
  Love the custom hood vent! Peter was not on site much but kept in contact. I think his crew does quality work. My only complaint is the cost was on the high side and discuss in advance the price on any add ons. But you get what you pay for - these guys do a great job!

  We discovered PS Berube Construction in a local Shoppers Guide and ultimately hired them to help us plan, design, and build an addition to our home. This was a large investment for us and one we did not have prior experience with so finding a builder we were comfortable with was really important.
  
  One thing we learned from the start was that Berube is neither the cheapest nor the most expensive. They came in towards the middle-higher end but listed out every component and material to be used and ALL were high quality. No corner cutting or junk builders grade. All lumber was purchased from a locally trusted supplier and the lumber that didn’t make the cut he inspected and returned. When it comes to construction you really do get what you pay for and going bargain basement will net you bargain basement results.
  
  All of their subcontractors arrived on time and did quality work (in fact, the one disappointment was a sub that I hired for HVAC). The work progressed on schedule even with the onset of winter. The crew were all great guys who we got to know pretty well and trusted in our home. We are thrilled with the project and love our addition. They also stand by their work. We had an issue with the grouting cracking in the shower and they came back to warranty cover it well after the job.
  
  It’s also worth mentioning that word got around and half our neighborhood wound up hiring PS Berube for their projects in the months after ours wrapped up.
  
  Since the addition project I have asked them for quotes on roofing and other smaller jobs and received pretty high quotes (might explain the previous review) so that’s something they should work on is being more competitive for non-construction jobs... or not offer them. Otherwise, we have recommended PS Berube Construction to dozens of friends and neighbors and very happy with their work.
