(March 26, 2022, 12:31 pm)A classic old-school Italian grocer—right in my backyard! How lucky am I?? Lived in West Newton 5 years before finding this little gem. It’s hiding in a residential area. Really beautiful, authentic food and imported groceries. All the necessities and THE best Italian sub since Toody’s of Wakefield closed. Nicest owner. Very sweet guy. See for yourself-it’s a tiny piece of the North End right here in Newton.

(September 18, 2021, 7:59 pm)Stopped in when I was working in the neighborhood, so glad I did! The guy who runs it is Luigi, and he’s been in the neighborhood for 50 years. He makes his own Italian sausage, and they are incredible! I’m definitely going back for more!
