“Krispy Krunchy Chicken has the best tasting chicken I have ever had. I'm a chicken tender guy and have had chicken from all over the New England area and nothing compares to Mike's excellent Chicken creations. The Waffle fries and Biscuits are freshly made and are so tasty. I stopped in here on a recommendation of a coworker after he told me that his coworkers told him that they have the best tasting chicken in the world... they were all 100% correct. The batter is not to thick like most other chicken, it's just right and actually light n very tasty, unlike other places where it's all teeth breaking tough batter with hardly any fresh white meat. I ordered the family combo of 8 tenders, 6 biscuits, and a large waffle fries and it was out of this world. I don't write reviews to often unless a place like this lights a fire in my stomach in an amazing way. Mike the owner was very pleasant and answered all of my questions and even offered me a sample which I was sold on the first bite. We order takeout 3 times per week and will be placing KKC on speed dial. Thanks again Mike... you hit it out of the Park. You now have a customer for life.”

Like most Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants they keep a basket of warmed tortilla chips on the table, and the salsa is delicious. Like authentic Mexican food, it isn't wicked spicy - it's just the right amount. The bad: the menu is kind of confusing. They list a half dozen burritos but it's not clear what's different between them. The menu is large and varied, but I think it's too long, too many choices. It takes up both sides of a broadsheet. The ugly: it was almost exactly an hour from when we sat down until our food arrived. The restaurant atmosphere suggests quick service - hard surfaces, loud, not particularly comfortable - and an hour is a long time to wait.”

“We had a wonderful Dinner at Real Restaurant this evening, which was also the evening of its official opening here in Lincoln. The food was excellent, staff was helpful and prompt. We were served relatively quickly. The Menu had a variety of selections that are sure to have something for almost any taste (or dietary restriction). I really wanted to try out their milkshakes - something you don't usually see in a restaurant of this caliber, but alas - my waistline would not allow it! What I most feel needs to be said is that the atmosphere of the restaurant is delightful. The decor has Scandinavian influences: clean lines, simple furnishings - elegant but not overpowering. And, the space is carefully designed to minimize noise. I have a hard time hearing anything when there is more than a little background noise, but I had no problems at all at Real, even with every table full of talkative guests. A wonderful experience and an enjoyable meal. We'll be sure to be back again soon!”
