“If I could put more than 5 stars, I would definitely click more. Beau is the best teacher my son, Nathan, has met. Ever since 3 years ago, when I first met Beau at one of her recitals, I signed my son up for lessons. Now, he's very interested in music. and he's always keeping track of when he'll see Beau again for the next lesson. my son's musical ability is sharply contrasting with his friends at school . I would recommend Beau to anyone who's interested in just starting music. I hope that Beau never leaves my neighborhood.”

“We chose to make a move with our two boys into programs at Happy Child Daycare and Preschool last year, because we felt that our previous daycare (part of a nation-wide chain) did not provide sufficient attention and stimulating curricula to them. We cannot be happier with this choice! Happy Child is the caring, loving, nurturing, and educationally stimulating environment that every parent dreams of and that we have long been looking for. Our children are immersed in dedicated and loving care and constantly learn, as they play, create, and have a good time. This is an ideal place to foster the social and early educational skills that will be the basis of their future successes in school, public or private. Both of our boys love attending this school (our preschooler often even asks us on weekend days whether we could take him back to school). We have been thrilled to see our preschooler already take several field trips with the class to various fun locations in the Greater Boston area, including the pet farms, parks and recreation centers. Moreover, both our toddler and preschooler receive regular extra-curricular activities, like marshal arts, music and yoga classes, as part of their normal daily schedules, which is an amazing additional enriching component of their experience. To top it off, Happy Child provides nourishing tasty home-prepared hot meals for breakfast and lunch, which means for us, as busy working parents of 3, that that critical obligation is off of our shoulders, and we can rest assured that our boys are eating well, along side their classmates. Our boys' teams of teachers act with such care and devotion to their charge that we have already come to see them close friends and love them as family members. It is such a rare opportunity to find such a wonderful place. We consider ourselves extremely lucky. Our only regret is that we will have to say goodbye to Happy Child when our children reach Kindergarten age and have to go off to a new school.”

“Both my daughters started attending since Preschool, the staff is really friendly and caring, the school is understanding and I know my daughters are happy and safe. The hours are great for working parents. Would recommend!!”

“Having visited several local day cares, it was immediately clear that Teachable Moments was higher quality in several areas. The teachers seem very experienced and qualifed as well as being very friendly and great with both kids and parents. Having one child currently attending, I am amazed at the different opportunities and experiences they provide the kids outside of simply providing day care. There are always guest speakers and outside exhibits visiting to provide a wide variety of educational experiences for the kids. The hours of operation are very generous and allow for a lot of flexibility in drop off and pick up. There are several events throughout the year for the parents to meet and see the school. The facility is modern with lots of toys and learning tools for the children in each classroom. Small class sizes and teacher to student ratios compared to other area day cares. I think there is generally a wait list for new students, so visit early. Very convenient to the Stoneham and Melrose area.”

“I LOVE Melrose KinderCare. My husband and I both commute to Boston for work and don't have family nearby, so when my daughter was born, we needed full-time care. My daughter started going there 5 days a week, 10 hours a day, when she was 3 months-old and she continued going there until she started Kindergarten at Roosevelt Elementary. The small class sizes and caring teachers made KinderCare my daughter's home away from home. Now my son goes to Melrose KinderCare and the teachers have become our extended family. I highly recommend the Melrose KinderCare family to anyone looking for full-time care.”
