“We moved to Ayer in 1987. In over 25 years, we never had a need to call the water department. Recently, we had a problem and I mentioned it at the DPW office while buying trash bags. The foreman called me just a bit later that morning to ask about my problem. The NEXT morning at 8:30 AM a crew arrived and took care of my problem. They were fast, efficient, courteous and friendly. They gave me a mini eduction on how to maintain things. I was very impressed by their good service attitude and I decided to pay my water bill a week ASAP !”

This store is right next to Shriver Jobcorps center which means this is where people go to buy most of the things they need and the man that owns the store is incredibly friendly and easy to get along with. The best thing about this place is that the sell MTN dew game fuel for 1.60 each or 2 for 3 dollars and the monster is 2 for 4$ that's better then going to the gas station up the road.”

“This place has AMAZING donuts and Apple Fritters. The Raspberry glazed Fritter is also amazing. Run by a husband and wife team the customer service at Ruby is always wonderful. They are excited about their product and always grateful for your business. Ask them for suggestions if you're not sure what to try. Their cake style donuts are old fashioned sour cream donuts. The raised cinnamon donuts are my favorites...a little bite of heaven. Their Boston Cream is awesome, and they do a nice version of a Bismarck and Cream with a jelly donut cut like a bagel and filled with whipped cream style filling in addition to the jelly. The donuts are always fresh and almost always still warm. This little donut shop can be hard to find as it isn't readily visible from the road in the strip mall where it is located. Totally worth the trip. My new favorite donut shop.”
