“We really liked Johnson's. Sorry we were just passing through and do not live closer. My wife's scallops were very fresh and delicious and reasonably priced. These days so many places use packaged previously frozen onion rings. Here they advertised fresh ones that my wife and I shared. They may have been best that I have ever had. Not salty or greasy. Very crisp lightly breaded, hot from the fryer. My mushroom burger was fine and inexpensive. The main claim to fame appears to be an amazing variety of ice cream, frozen yogurt and sherbet flavors made on the premises with a large array of possible toppings. My 3 flavor cone was huge and tasty. My wife's coffee ice cream sundae was called small but that's certainly not the way she described it. She liked the strong coffee flavor. It's an informal place where you order at the counter; they make it fresh and bring it to your table.”
