  I cannot explain how happy I was with Humboldt. I'd heard horror stories about long-haul moves and was feeling super overwhelmed with all the different moving options, the differences in insurances, timeline guarantees, etc.
  
  I talked to sales people from 4 different moving companies, and Keli at Humboldt was easily the best. Not only did she explain to me exactly how their insurance worked and what was covered (spoiler: it was the most comprehensive plan with the best coverage), she also walked me through packing day, moving day, and took 30 minutes to walk through my apartment via Zoom so she could accurately estimate how much space I'd need and exactly how much it would cost to move (everyone else just gave me ball park estimates). In the end, Humboldt was the best cost (even including full packing service).
  
  After we'd signed, I worked with Michele, and she checked in with my every few weeks until the loading date, just to confirm that I was all set. Questions were answered within 24 hours, and she was always super clear with her responses.
  
  On loading day the crew was unbelievably quick, nice, and efficient. We had issues with our moving permit (Boston Police never towed the car in my spot) and the crew was flexible and willing work around it. They fully packed and loaded my whole apartment in 4 hours.
  
  My furniture ended up arriving at the destination 6 days ahead of schedule, and nothing was broken. I was thrilled with Humboldt through the whole process!

  Humboldt was fantastic to work with throughout our long distance move. The drivers and movers were all excellent on both ends as well. The Humboldt staff helped us with logistics associates with the packing we did on our own and the packing their movers did for us. The quote process was easy and the staff followed up frequently with updates and time estimates. I would highly recommend them (and United Van lines)!

  Humboldt moves is amazing from start to finish and the receptionist in between. Bethany and Derek are incredible. Derek was great during estimating and Bethany is was so wonderful as my moving coordinator. She answered all my questions, explained everything, and was so responsive. I have had terrible moving experiences in the past with other companies but they have renewed my trust. I absolutely recommend.

  A huge THANK YOU to the amazing crew that came out to help us load up for our big cross country move. We have moved several times before and we have never had a more professional, speedy, gracious, careful, attentive and helpful team than the four individuals who came out today. I want to thank Tim for serving us so well on his birthday no less, Bob, Jarid, and Jake for all of the amazing work they did. We are grateful and highly recommend this group!

  Used Humboldt for a cross country move and they were awesome. Definitely not the cheapest, but there were no hidden fees, they didn’t charge extra for tape and extra boxes needed to pack mirrors or art and they were on time both at origin and destination. My move coordinator, Bethany, kept me in the loop at all times and was always quick to respond when I had questions.
  All of my belongings made it safely to my destination unscathed. Trusting all of your worldly possessions with someone is so stressful - I had a great experience with Humboldt and would 100% use them again should the need arise.
