5 South Main

From a road warriors perspective when searching for a quick sit down or take out lunch in Cohasset this is the spot. Small restaurant with ample seating. No worries about checking the sandwich or bag for ordered items. The order is completed correctly the first time and always with a smile. Unlike many delis that forget the condiments as requested. 5 South Main is on my short list for low key, delicious creative sandwiches and soups from the menu or interesting specials from the blackboard. Great desserts as well. Dinners with a beer and wine license. Sunday brunch too. Tables outside for warm weather dining. Highly recommended.

Great spot for a casual breakfast with friends. Had to wait about 10-15 mins for our party of 4 but that is to be expected with such a small place. The staff were polite and even genuinely funny when interacting with us. Definitely had some great laughs. Food was pretty standard though we didnt get anything game breaking (simple eggs and toast). The cinnamon roll French toast was tasty though!!

My wife and I had two GREAT sandwiches here for lunch yesterday - they were outstanding! I'm a lifelong New Englander, and have been around lobster my entire life, but had never thought of, nor heard of, a grilled cheese sandwich with lobster salad in it. The Gooey Louis was such an unexpected treat! We'll definitely be back for more of their creative and delicious food - thank you!

Been here for breakfast a few times recently. The food has been delicious and the wait time has been minimal. The wait staff was been very polite and attentive. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend stopping in for a nice breakfast.

Charming little neighborhood spot for breakfast, lunch, and now dinner! I’ve been going here for years and always have had a pleasant experience. Food is made fresh to order and to accommodate any dietary restrictions. Service is always friendly and welcoming.
