We took our “A.”, our seventeen year old child, to Dr. Malcolm for a neuropsychological evaluation. We were so lucky to have found him. My husband and I met with him, filled out extensive paperwork and assessments, and discussed the process. His expertise and experience plus an excellent “bedside manner” put us at ease. Our child’s experience the day of evaluation was positive.
The meeting with all of us to discuss the report was very thorough. Dr. Malcolm used positive language and explanations for the Autism Spectrum Disorder while still detailing where A. struggles and needs support.
Dr. Malcolm’s recommendations for the future have been invaluable as A. is transitioning to college. His report helped A. secure the necessary support for Freshman year. A. was diagnosed with ADHD-I and Anxiety Disorder in addition to ASD.
Dr. Malcolm was also knowledgeable about the different insurance companies and what costs they would likely cover.
