“Still coming back to Grumpy’s after all these years (25 y). Food is consistent, staff upbeat and attentive, prices are fair. Small selection of draft beers and they make good cocktails at the bar. In the winter there is nothing like a crock of French onion soup to warm you up. Spring / Summer the lobster roll is a staple with generous amounts of meat on a toasted roll. Burgers are excellent. The ‘must try’ menu item is Grumpy boneless fried chicken w/ mashed potato, corn and homemade gravy.”

Only negative; tough to get out of parking lot and into the far left lane to make a left-hand turn or U-turn. End up having to go down the street a good ways in order to turn around. Would go again when in the area.”

“Had a great experience in the brick and beam. Went with the family and got a great selection of appetizers for adults and kids. For entrees we had a mix of dishes all were excellent. Especially paying the price me and my friend paid for a medium order got a few big ones then the rest was like whatever was left. To small and totally not worth it. “Stopped by again in the evening and the gentleman that usually cooks on the grille knows I don’t eat pork, decided to clean the grille for me and I didn’t even ask! He made me a cheeseburger sub which came out really good. Fries was nice and crispy too! I wasn’t expecting it to be that good since I have a little too much of high expectations. After working at a pizzeria for a few years, I feel like I know what good pizza tastes like and not to mention everything was done from scratch. Anyways it’s nice to have take out almost just as good as I knew before.”

Nothing groundbreaking on the menu, but it is tasty and clean with lots of variety. This is a solid East Coast Mexican place and def the best you can do on the burbs and maybe in Boston.”

The draft list is also pleasantly surprising with a very well done selection of local New England IPAs. My only complaint is that it is a little pricey for me, however, it is certainly worth every penny.”

“The food was really good!! The seafood was fresh and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. I only gave 4 stars because the music was a little too loud to have a normal conversation. I went back yesterday and ordered the baked scallops with mashed potatoes and cole slaw for sides. My boyfriend got the fish and chips. We oredered our food to go and had a drink at the bar while we waited. The music was Mich quiter this time and the gokd was amazing as always!!! I have changed my rating to 5 stars ased on our recent visit. Also the waitree was so nice when my boyfriend spilled his beer. She cleaned it up and got him a new one no problem.”
